As I didn't feel like continuing to write yesterday [it was a massive load of text as it was] I chose to continue today, Monday.
Just got home from the assistant managers' lunch. I had leek and potato soup for starters, after that bubble and squeek with a sausage and gravy and for dessert I had a christmas pudding, even though it could hardly be called pudding as such. I had a pretty good time and met some new people. Basically I only worked in the morning, left at a quarter to one and after the lunch I was free to go home. That's one day's work down! Pretty nice, I'm telling you.
The reason I put "piggy night" in the title was because somebody mentionned it as an alternative name for "all you can eat" - thought it was pretty funny. I put it down so I wouldn't forget, because I would, you know me.
Oh, and just for your information, I chose to go sit in the kitchen. When one Chinese left, he left a kettle and a lamp in the kitchen and I just now decided to turn the lamp on and now it's really *gezellig* here! Could say cosy but it's not quite the same, it's gezellig!
And I don't know if I mentionned it but our kettle broke down and now we took the other one that the Chinese left in use. Very convenient.

[In the mean time a lot of time has passed.. can't be bothered really, but I'll force myself to go on]
Last Saturday I was downstairs in the common room watching the xfactor together with Deborah. That was rather funny, a friend of mine who's currently living somewhere else in Britain and we were discussing the British xfactor on msn as it was happening. I was all set with my laptop and blanket. The only things I had forgotten were my keys.
So Tom came down, Martin wasn't home, said [on the phone] he'd be home in a few hours' time. Nice. So I settled in the kitchen. At least I now had things of my own in there and I had my laptop, with Internet! Time to watch some Shrek!
Then at about half ten Martin came in and he didn't charge me because I had to wait.
[A lot of hours later yet again]
Right, this will be the end of this blog. I'm very much looking forward to this weekend. Celine will be here! Just persuaded her to do karaoke with me. Woot! Let's scare the local people. ;D
